I am glad to have an opportunity to tell what Christian Science has done for me, both spiritually and physically.
Four years ago I was first led to look into its teachings. I had heard a great deal about it, but it found no favor with me; in fact, I would not listen to anything connected with Science. However, at the time mentioned I was in a most unhappy state of mind, and was also in such a serious physical condition that my friends feared I would not recover. My trouble seemed to be nervous prostration and insomnia. For weeks I did not sleep over two or three hours a night, and many nights not at all.
I sought the best physician I could find and was treated daily, besides taking his medicine. Do what he would, I gained no relief. While taking electrical treatment I felt better; but the effect soon passed away and in a few hours I was feeling as badly as ever. Nothing brought me any permanent relief.
