I have been brought up with Christian Science from the time I was a very small child, and naturally have a great deal to be thankful for. I would like to bear testimony to the daily blessings I have received through Christian Science during all these years. I have been helped many times, and of one case I would like to speak. I fell and injured my spine, and for some time was hardly able to move at all. In two weeks I was greatly relieved through Christian Science, and in a few months entirely healed. I feel very thankful for this healing, as I know how very serious it might have proved without Christian Science treatment, as I have known of similar cases under medical treatment which have never fully recovered.
I have also been healed of various other ills, fever, etc.; but, above all the physical help I have received, I am still more grateful for the understanding of God which Christian Science gives me. To be able to prove that God is Love, and that Love is the only power, is a grand thing to me. Christian Science not only helps me to understand God, but no matter what problem comes up in my life, I know I have something to look to for help, and I have never looked in vain. I am not the only one in our family who has cause for gratitude, as every member has been helped in many ways. We all feel that we owe all we have to God, as revealed to us through the study of the text-book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," by Mrs. Eddy.
I feel that we can never be thankful enough to God for giving us such a patient and true Leader, one who is trying to lead us in the right way. We know that Christian Science could not have accomplished what it has if our dear Leader had not been led by God; and we know that it is growing daily by the number around us who are healed.
