In the winter of 1910 our little girl, five years old, had a fever which left her in a bad state, her ear being affected so that she became deaf. We had a doctor and also an ear and throat specialist, and both said that an immediate operation was the only hope, as it was not possible for her to get well without it. We, however, turned to Christian Science for help, and it worked wonderfully from the start. After the first treatment there was no more pain, the child slept, ate. and played as usual, and inside of two weeks she was completely healed. The doctor had said she would be permanently deaf, but the healing is perfect, and I wish to add that she has never been so well before in her life as she is now. I am grateful for the many proofs we have received of the ever-present help of divine Love, and also to our Leader for her selflessness in giving us this truth. — Guelph, Ont.
