In Science and Health we read that "Science can heal the sick, who are absent from their healers, as well as those present, since space is no obstacle to Mind" (p. 179). The above statement was proven true in my case, over five years ago. I was engaged in business at Hallandale, Fla., when my feet began to trouble me. My work required much movement, going up and down stairs, and owing to the condition of my feet I was obliged to wear very large shoes. The pains were frequent and at times almost unbearable. I applied by letter to a Christian Science practitioner, asking for absent treatment, and within two weeks after receiving treatment my feet were healed and I could wear my ordinary shoes. I am very thankful to our Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for giving us Science' and Health and all her other writings, also for the Christian Science periodicals, and for her great gift to the world, The Christian Science Monitor.— Ojus, Fla.
