Christian Science has brought me so many blessings and has made my life so different, that I cannot adequately express my gratitude. When I first heard of it I was suffering from a rheumatic trouble, and had been told that it was "in my system," so that I could hardly expect to get better; but Christian Science cured me of this ailment in a week, and I have never had any return of it.
I am also most grateful for the teaching of Christian Science with regard to heredity. I was apparently one of the victims of this so-called law and suffered in consequence acute depression, believing as I did that I could not escape from certain conditions which I was supposed to have inherited. Christian Science then came to me with its message of joy and hope, and by degrees the clouds of depression and fear were lifted. I knew that as God's child my only inheritance was that of health, harmony, and joy.
Besides the physical healing, Christian Science has been everything to me in the overcoming of various difficulties, also the belief in sin, in sorrow, in disappointment, and now I do not know what I should do without this truth.
