I write this testimony with a heart full of gratitude and with a sense of great love to God. In September, 1910, I came to Christian Science with but little hope of ever getting well again, as I had suffered with various and severe female troubles for a period of twenty years. In 1908 I had to submit to a serious abdominal operation, after which my condition improved, though the benefit was not a lasting one. I had been under the treatment of the best physicians here in Berlin, but with no success. Finally heart, stomach, and bowel troubles were added, and this was the condition in which Christian Science found me. I had always great trust in God and this made it easier for me to apprehend the truth, and the nature of divine Love. With five treatments I was well, and am well today; while minor disturbances which manifested themselves later were quickly overcome.
I am grateful to God not only for the benefit thus derived, but also for all the good which I and my family experience daily. Christian Science indeed helps me to make progress in the truth, and I know that God protects us, if we but walk in the right path. It is with a sense of great reverence and love that I think of the noble woman who has made it possible for us to understand the deep meaning of the words of Christ Jesus and to attain to an understanding of the truth.— ,Berlin, Germany
