It gives me great pleasure to express my gratitude for what Christian Science has done for me. In January, 1911, I fell and injured my right arm. On reaching school it was impossible to use the arm, on account of the pain and swelling, and the teacher insisted that I report to the physician for examination. I did so, and was given a note to my father, saying that it was necessary for me to have medical treatment at once, as a bone in the wrist was fractured. I went home and read Science and Health, while my father and mother helped me to realize the truth. For six days I carried my arm in a sling, but not bandaged. During the entire time I attended school regularly, and on the ninth day I was able to use my hands for piano practise. My wrist is perfectly straight and as well and strong as it ever was.
I am truly thankful to Mrs. Eddy for making this wonderful truth so plain, and to God for giving us a Leader so wise.—Philadelphia, Pa.
