In the spring of 1911 I became afflicted with a diseased condition of the gums, which the physicians diagnosed as very obstinate, and said that in order to check the decomposition I should have several teeth extracted. At the same time I suffered with a severe affection of the throat and high fever.
Having heard a good deal about Christian Science, and trusting that I might be helped through its agency, I asked for one absent treatment to be given, and very soon I was free from pain in the throat and the fever had considerably abated. When on the following day a Christian Science practitioner called and treated me, the pain in the mouth soon disappeared, and I was able to attend a Wednesday evening meeting. With a few more treatments I was completely healed of the disease.
For about three years I suffered with a bowel difficulty, and had to resort to drugs almost daily. This has also completely yielded, and I thank God from the depths of my heart for the blessings which I have received through Christian Science. —Tempelhof, near Berlin, Germany.
