It would be impossible to express my gratitude for what Christian Science has done for me, it has brought so much freedom from fear. My first healing was that of a sprained ankle, which had seemed very painful when I hobbled into the practitioner's office, but all pain left instantaneously in one treatment. The need for wearing glasses, which had been used constantly for about ten years, was overcome one day while reading some Christian Science literature. A severe attack of measles was entirely overcome through Christian Science treatment a week from the time the disturbance appeared.
It would not be possible to tell of the many proofs that have been given me of the power of right thinking as taught in Christian Science. Self-consciousness when playing in public was overcome at once through the work of a practitioner, and it has never returned. More than this, the crushing sense of grief due to separation from a dear one who had passed on, has to a great extent been lifted through the understanding of the indestructibility of man's life in Science.
For the understanding which brings these many blessings that are appearing every day, I feel deeply thankful to God, and grateful to Mrs. Eddy, who has given us in Science and Health a "Key to the Scriptures."— Salem, Mo.
