I would like to tell of some of the blessings I have received through the study of Christian Science. In November, 1913, I was taken ill with rheumatism and swelling of the joints. Being a railway servant I had to see a doctor, but I told him he need not prescribe for me as I was interested in Christian Science and it would heal me. He had a good laugh at the thought of Christian Science healing me, for to mortal sense I was very ill; but my faith in God never wavered, and through the earnest work of a practitioner I was healed in a very short time.
Before knowing of Christian Science I had rheumatism and was under medical treatment for three months. Since my healing through the power of Truth I have been a better man mentally and physically. I came into Science through the healing of my wife, who had been very delicate for years and was constantly under medical care, but through the study of Science and Health she was healed, and she has been well and strong every since.
We are deeply grateful for all the blessings which we have received through Mrs. Eddy's life-work, and are daily striving for that Mind to be in us "which was also in Christ Jesus."— Johannesburg, South Africa.
