My heart overflows with joy as I think of the inestimable good that Christian Science has brought to all mankind; and my gratitude goes out to our dear Leader for again bringing to light the truth that Christ Jesus the Wayshower lived and practiced over nineteen centuries ago.
About eight years ago I was instantaneously healed of a painful condition in the side, which our family physician pronounced enlargement of the spleen. but failed to relieve. A year later I began to study the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, together with the Bible, and since that time God, good, has been our ever present help in times of accident, sickness, and distress of all kinds, as well as our protector in times of health and harmony.
Christian Science has enabled me to overcome much fear, hatred, and resentment, and is daily, hourly helping me to be more loving and charitable toward my brother. Incidental to the spiritual unfoldment, there have been many physical healings in our home. Some of these have been instantaneous, others have seemed slow, according to our willingness to give up the false and accept the real.
