I have enjoyed wonderful health, contentment, and peace of mind ever since my beautiful, complete healing in Christian Science about a year and a half ago after a great deal of suffering, both mental and physical. I had changed doctors several times and at last consulted a specialist, who diagnosed my case as cancer of the uterus. Following his advice I submitted to two operations, but after weeks spent in hospitals, with no improvement, the doctor decided I had just one more chance, that being through the use of radium. Words cannot express the hopeless, depressed state I was in on finding that what I believed to be my last chance had failed. Then a friend brought Christian Science to my attention and my healing through the power of Truth was considered instantaneous. I shall never cease to give thanks to God for the peace of mind, happiness, and health that came to me. Since then I have been daily assured of His gentle presence and protection. I have also been healed of minor ills, such as burns, slight loss of hearing, and a swollen ankle.
I am so grateful for the spiritual uplift, as I can now read the Bible with understanding and enjoy it; also for all the Christian Science literature. My daily prayer is that I may grow in wisdom and understanding so that I may help others.—Lakewood, Ohio.
