I wish to express my deep gratitude for the many blessings and healings that have come to me through Christian Science, and to testify to the quick results obtained through the ever present power of Truth.
While attending to the fire in a stove, and stooping over, a flame burst from the lower door, which was open, causing me to fall to the floor. I immediately arose and closed the door; then, covering my face with my hands, I discovered that my hair was burning. After smothering the flames, I found that the ends of my hair and my eyebrows were burned. My face was fiery red and there was severe pain in my nose. I commenced to declare the truth, and was comforted by the knowledge that a practitioner was coming to the house soon to see another patient. She arrived about ten minutes later and instantly began to work, remaining with me for some time. I suffered from an intense headache followed by nausea. The practitioner continued her work and I slept for a short time. Upon awakening, the practitioner lovingly said, "Angels have watched over you; all is become new." My face had again assumed its normal color, the pain had completely vanished, and I felt as though newly born.
For this proof of the ever presence of divine Love I am deeply grateful. My heart is full of love to God, and I am grateful to Mrs. Eddy, who showed us the way.— Altona, Germany.
