Christian Science came to me in the darkest moment of my life when everything seemed to be in a state of chaos, and mortal sense suggested that I would either pass away or lose my reason, and indeed the former seemed preferable, and self-destruction was contemplated. It was at this point that I consented to Christian Science treatment. I received benefit from the first treatment, although the healing was slow. During this time many errors were lost sight of and I learned something of the truth of Mrs. Eddy's statement as found on page 21 of "Unity of Good": "There is no sensible matter, no sense in matter; but there is a spiritual sense, a sense of Spirit, and this is the only consciousness belonging to true individuality, or a divine sense of being." Then I knew that reason could not be lost or impaired, and J was truly free from fear.
I was also healed of defective eyesight and the need for wearing glasses, and was instantaneously healed of broken arches. Christian Science is making me free indeed, whether the problem be physical, mental, or financial, when its teachings are faithfully applied, and I am sincerely grateful for this healing truth which is surely bringing in the millennium.— Indianapolis, Indiana.
