One morning I awoke with intense pain in both arms, especially in the left arm and hand, which rendered me incapable of dressing myself. As a dressmaker came to the house that day, I forced myself to help somewhat; but I experienced great difficulty, as my fingers were very stiff and I suffered intense pain. In the afternoon I requested treatment of a Christian Science practitioner. Soon afterwards the pain vanished; and in the evening I felt very much better. I was completely well again the next morning, and was able to play the accompaniments to the hymns at our service.
I am very grateful to God for this wonderful healing, and thankful to our dear Leader. Mrs. Eddy, through whose teaching I have gained a better understanding of God's love and omnipotence. In proportion to my spiritual understanding, I am able to apply Christian Science with good results in my daily life.— Stade, Germany.
