It is many years since I first heard of Christian Science or even the name of Mary Baker Eddy, the author of that wonderful book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," which was brought into our home by a son who was in search of health. By daily reading and studying I have come to know something of the allness, the greatness of the divine Mind who rules over all. I have been healed of many ailments, but one stands out particularly was suffering intensely from a gastric trouble and retired to my room to try to help myself by reading "the scientific statement of being" (Science and Health, p. 468), but the condition was becoming more and more serious. I took up my Bible and opened to Jeremiah 32 and without turning a leaf my eyes fell on these words found in the 27th verse, "Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?" I stopped and meditated on these words, and immediately the pain ceased.
I have felt that I would like to send in this testimony, as I so seldom get to any church service or to testimony meetings, being too far away from a church. I am truly grateful for all the Christian Science literature; Mrs. Eddy's works do follow her.—Washington, New Jersey.
