It is with a heart overflowing with gratitude and joy that I should like to express what Christian Science has done for me.
In these last five years, since I turned to Christian Science, many physical ills have been overcome in our family and harmony restored. I had suffered from severe inflammation of the eyes, and was constantly having medical treatment for about two years. It was impossible to use my eyes for any length of time without experiencing great pain, and I was forced to wear dark glasses. After hearing of Christian Science, I immediately began to attend the church services, and apparently forgot all about my trouble. I never asked especially for help; I was entirely healed through studying the Lesson-Sermons and listening to the healing truth in our church services. The inflammation never returned. To say I am grateful for this healing is but to state the fact very mildly, knowing what I had suffered before.
I have also been freed from an intestinal trouble of nearly a year's standing, as well as of colds, dizziness, and a great fear of death, through the loving help of a dear practitioner. A hard growth under the eyelid, which at times became very noticeable outwardly, has now vanished through Christian Science treatment. This last healing was very slow. I learned to understand that the cleansing of thought must take place before the physical healing could appear.
