With a deep sense of gratitude I wish to testify to the blessings which I have been privileged to experience through God's infinite and omnipotent love.
I had been suffering for twenty five years from chronic catarrh, which was accompanied by a terrible cough. As soon as the weather became cold, the catarrh appeared and annoyed me throughout the entire winter. For months I could not get out into the open and was unable even to stand before an open window, for when I inhaled the air the catarrh would become aggravated. Following the advice of the physician who attended me all through the winter, I went to a bathing resort at the North Sea, where the strong sea air was expected to heal me. Then I went to a resort in Diirrenberg, where I diligently inhaled salt water steam daily. I used all possible material remedies, but in vain. Nothing brought healing; only temporary relief, of short duration, was experienced. Then Christian Science came into my life, and through God's omnipotent love and goodness, together with the faithful work of a practitioner, I was finally freed from this long standing affliction.
Also, for about nine months, I suffered from a foot which was quite inflamed, and which, in spite of all remedies applied, did not heal. I therefore requested a Christian Science practitioner to help me. This was lovingly done, and in a fortnight the inflammation had completely disappeared.
