Words cannot express my gratitude for all I have received in Christian Science. I have been healed of many things. The healing which I should like to mention especially is that of chronic indigestion. The doctors had done all they could, and after many years of almost unbearable suffering, when without hope or God, I was led to Christian Science through a neighbor, to whom I am very grateful for taking me to a Christian Science service.
About four years ago, one morning when I had served breakfast for my husband and myself, and something said to me that I could not eat because I was in pain and suffering, I pondered the passage in the Bible which tells of Jesus' whipping out all the unclean things from the temple, and I took the same truth and whipped out that ugly sick thought. Then I sat down and ate my breakfast, and went on my way to church rejoicing.
I am indeed thankful for Christian Science. I am thankful to God, to Christ Jesus, to Mrs. Eddy, and to all who have helped me to gain the understanding that I have; also I am most grateful to God for the wonderful spiritual uplift that has come to me.— Seattle, Wash.
