When quite a young girl I became interested in Christian Science through attending the Christian Science Sunday School. The lessons of truth and love which I learned there have been the foundation of my living ever since, and have directed my path in the right way during the subsequent years. I feel deeply grateful for the peace, harmony, and happiness which come to me daily, as a result of my study of the Bible and of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy.
In a physical way I have experienced quick and permanent healings of constipation, neuralgia, chronic sick headache, colds, and what might have been serious eye trouble. When in high school, one day I became almost blind. When I tried to read I could not distinguish one word from another. When I reached home that afternoon, a practitioner was called and Christian Science treatment asked for. After the second treatment my eyesight was perfectly normal. This healing occurred ten years ago, and I have had perfect sight ever since.
I cannot say enough for this provable religion, which is the same truth that Jesus taught. It has met my every need—spiritual, financial, and physical. I am thankful for all who are helping to maintain and forward the Christian Science movement; for our enlightening periodicals; for membership in The Mother Church; for our faithful practitioners. Each problem which comes to me, when solved according to the rules of Christian Science, teaches me that our "faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God."— Scottsboro, Alabama.
