I am truly grateful to God and to our dear Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, for our beautiful religion. I am grateful for the understanding our practitioners have of God, so that they can help those who seek the truth.
Christian Science has been our only help for over five years. Our first year in Christian Science brought about the most wonderful demonstration, for which we are all very happy. It was at the birth of our fourth baby, which the doctor declared to be a "still birth," saying that he could do nothing more. The practitioner and nurse knew that God is Life and omnipresent. After a few minutes' treatment the baby began to show signs of life. The doctor who witnessed this demonstration said: "Christian Scientists are wonderful people. They trust God." This baby began to attend the Christian Science Sunday School when scarcely two years old.
We have experienced many other beautiful healings of disease—rupture, extreme nervousness, misplaced and irresponsive organs, and sore eyes. I am truly grateful for the spiritual understanding that enables us to know God better.— New York, New York.
