I am grateful for the opportunity to express my gratitude for the healing power of Christian Science. Through reading the inspired pages of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy I was healed of grief, chronic headaches, colds, and many other conditions. It gave me courage to live, for it had seemed there was nothing left to live for. The Bible, which had always been a closed book, was put to daily use. Through continuing to study in Christian Science I am able to prove day by day Jesus' words, "If ye continue in my word, ... ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." I am grateful for the Sunday school, where the children are being taught how to apply their understanding of God to their everyday living. I am grateful for the periodicals and Mrs. Eddy's writings, and for all that she has so lovingly given us; for being able to attend the services regularly, though we are fifteen miles from a church. I am especially grateful for the help so willingly and patiently given which enabled me to experience an harmonious childbirth. In a short time I was able to continue with my household duties without any sense of weakness or fatigue.
My prayer is to let the Christ, Truth, be more abiding in my consciousness, so that I may help in some measure to meet humanity's need.— New Albany, Indiana.
