FROM THE DIRECTORS

[As published in the Christian Science Sentinel, October 18, 1930]

From the December 1930 issue of The Christian Science Journal

This new Life of Mrs. Eddy, by Dr. Lyman P. Powell, will be released for sale on Friday, October 24, by The Macmillan Company. The publishers have made arrangements for an agent in London, England, to distribute the book at the same time as it is put on sale throughout the United States. A publisher in Sydney, Australia, is to distribute the book to Australasian buyers.

The biography in cloth is bound in a medium shade of blue and sells for $5.00. A handsomely bound leather edition in dark green sells for $7.50. A facsimile in gold of Mrs. Eddy's signature appears on the cover of each style of binding. The book contains twenty-six illustrations, some of them not before obtainable.

As heretofore announced, The Christian Science Publishing Society, as well as reputable bookstores, will distribute the volume. While the Christian Science Reading Rooms will carry it, Christian Scientists should not feel obliged to purchase the book through Reading Rooms, but should feel free to patronize bookstores.
