I received my first healing in Christian Science when I was just a young girl. It was of a disease of the skin and was quite disfiguring, as well as the source of much humiliation. I tried many remedies and had treatment from a physician, but these all failed to give relief. With just a few treatments from a Christian Science practitioner I was healed, and I have never had any return of the trouble.
Previous to the above healing my mother was healed of several conditions which were considered chronic, and for which she had been under a physician's care for many years. One of these discordant conditions was constipation, the healing of which was complete, for it took place over twenty-two years ago and no material remedies have ever been resorted to since.
My two children have been healed of various ills that children seem to have. While we may at times have failed to apply it, Christian Science has never failed us; nor will it fail anyone who earnestly applies its Principle to his problems. I am grateful for the privilege of being a student of this Science. I am a member of a local church, also of The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts.
