Christian Science has proved to me that "God is divine Life, and Life is no more confined to the forms which reflect it than substance is in its shadow" (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, by Mary Baker Eddy, p.331). Nine years ago, through the loving help of a Christian Science practitioner, I was healed of tuberculosis of the lungs in the last stages. I had been in bed eighteen months before seeking help in Christian Science. I had no fear or doubt after talking to a practitioner. I never worried about my healing, but worried because I thought I should never understand Christian Science. The practitioner said that so long as I was studying I was learning something of Christian Science. I was healed in a few months.
Christian Science has been my only physician since that time. I have been healed of influenza-pneumonia, a very severe case of poisoning, and many other ailments. For these blessings and the spiritual upliftings I have received I am very grateful to God; and I wish to express my gratitude to Mrs. Eddy, who discovered this Science.—Seattle, Washington.
