I wish to tell of a very quick and beautiful healing which I received nearly three years ago, and which was brought about through the loving help of a Christian Science practitioner.
I was brought home from the hospital in a very weak condition. There the doctors had told me that I had a fibroid tumor, but they could not remove it at that time because of my weakness. I had been home but a short time when I was taken with violent hemorrhages, and such agonizing pain that it seemed as if I could not endure it. This continued for two weeks or more. The doctor insisted that my only hope was to go back to the hospital for an operation. This I refused to do, knowing I could never stand it.
All that time I was trying most faithfully to keep nourishment and medicine in my stomach, but could not. Some time before this I had gone to a Christian Science lecture with some neighbors who were Scientists. I grew steadily weaker, until, at last, I felt I was dying, and decided to try Christian Science.
