ITEMS OF INTEREST

From the September 1932 issue of The Christian Science Journal

The registrations over a recent week-end at the Pacific Coast Sanatorium show guests present from the following places besides San Francisco and its vicinity, namely, South Africa, Australia, China, Alaska, Mexico City, Los Angeles, Seattle, Chicago, Boston, New York City, and Montana. Often at the Sanatorium of The Christian Science Benevolent Association at Chestnut Hill the guests come from an equally wide range of countries.

Guests at our two Sanatoriums often express their appreciation for the opportunity given them there to become acquainted with Christian Scientists from other countries, many of them from far-away places. Friendships are often formed which continue after the guests have returned to their respective homes. Gratitude has been expressed for the joy and inspiration gained from mingling with others who, although from different localities, understand the same language of Spirit, God. They have opportunity to exchange helpful experiences which have proved that trust in divine Mind for their every need brings bountiful blessings. Many who have had the benefit of a stay at either Sanatorium have spoken of the particularly delightful environment there for the quiet rest and study which brings lasting benefit.

The Christian Science Benevolent Association on Pacific Coast has recently made arrangements with the Western Union Telegraph Company for a cable address for the Pacific Coast Sanatorium. The code word is "Pacificsan." This cable address is also registered with the Radio Corporation of America and with the Postal Telegraph Company.
