ANGELS

From the December 1933 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Angels are messengers of Love,
Pure thoughts from God to man.
Proceeding from the realm of light,
Dispersing shades of darksome night,
These visitants of heavenly birth
Proclaim Love's kingdom come on earth,
Dear angels of His presence.

Soaring above the mists of wrong
Into eternal Truth,
These angel-thoughts of ministering Love
Lead always to the light above;
Pinioned by Love, soft-winged with peace,
From error's bonds they bring release,
Dear angels of His presence.
