I have known of Christian Science since my mother received a physical healing over twenty years ago and became a healthy, active woman through the operation of this truth which makes free. I was not with her at the time, but I commenced to attend the Christian Science services in preference to those of other denominations. I was then in hospital training, and too interested in my work to study Christian Science in earnest, or take any further steps to make it of practical use in my life. In fact, as a nurse I was more in favor of medical methods of healing.
Some years later I became dissatisfied with the limitations of medical knowledge. An experience with a patient seeking Christian Science help at last convinced me of the superiority of this Science. I then made a definite stand and was quickly and wonderfully led to leave the old thoughts and ways until privileged to take an active part in this great movement.
I have seen conditions yield to Christian Science treatment quickly and completely which, with my previous methods, would have meant strict care for weeks, and tedious convalescence. I have personally experienced instantaneous healing on two occasions, one of a physical difficulty I had had all my life.
