I wish to avail myself of the privilege given us to express our gratitude through the periodicals for healings in Christian Science. Through the study and application of this Science God has been revealed to me, God whom I had searched for everywhere since childhood; and through the understanding of what God is—that He is Life, Truth, and Love—and that man is His image and likeness, I have been healed of many discordant conditions, physical, mental, and financial.
I am most grateful for the overcoming of a quick temper through the understanding that God's child, made in His image and likeness, cannot reflect anything but a loving disposition. It was not an easy task, but took much perseverance and prayer.
I have been healed of stomach trouble of many years' duration and of severe headaches. Throughout all the years of my training as a medical nurse and many years of practice, I asked religious leaders, "Why do not we heal as Jesus did?" No one could answer this question; but Christian Science is unfolding to me how Jesus healed the sick and the sinning, and I am very happy to have a part in this work.
