With great gratitude I bear witness to all the blessings which I have received through Christian Science.
Over seven years ago my left lung became affected. I began to cough and have constant fever. Doctors prescribed medicine and rest, but I did not get any better, and when I was X-rayed later on it was found that the right lung was also affected. The physician advised me to go to a sanatorium at once. I went to another lung specialist and received the same verdict.
A month before that time I had heard of Christian Science through a friend, and so I thought, Why not try this? Instead of going to the sanatorium I journeyed to Stockholm and went to see a Christian Science practitioner, with whom I stayed for ten days and from whom I received treatment. I at once laid aside all medicine. When I came home my husband was very much surprised at my improved appearance, and when on the following day I went to the doctor the latter was equally surprised and told me that I no longer need think of going to a sanatorium, for I was so much better. When I went to see him again later, he said I was quite restored. At that time I had had treatment in Christian Science for two months. That was over seven years ago, and since then I have never had the slightest relapse.
