Christian Science has increased my understanding of the Bible and has taught me the ever present availability of divine Love to meet our needs.
The wonderful healing of a goiter of many years' standing will always be remembered not only for the physical freedom, but for the lesson it taught me by proving Mrs. Eddy's words in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (p. 417), "When you silence the witness against your plea, you destroy the evidence, for the disease disappears." In this healing the suggestion of time as a necessary factor, because of the chronic condition involved, was also destroyed by Truth, with the blessed result that the error disappeared overnight. Never shall I forget my joy and gratitude upon my ability to breathe freely, and for my glimpse of the "new heaven" and the "new earth" which I caught at that time.
The fracture of two ribs was healed in Christian Science and troubled me very little during the two weeks of healing. I have also been healed of sick headaches, bilious attacks, and a very painful condition of the stomach. I am grateful to know that these and all healings in Christian Science are the manifestation of spiritual law.
