Christian Science was accepted in my family at a time of great need. My mother was completely healed of a severe nervous breakdown after all medical resources had failed, and she is now more active, stronger, and happier than ever before.
Christian Science has indeed proved to be the Comforter, and through its teaching we are learning that all God's promises are kept, and that the beautiful truths in the Bible are practicable here and now. Studied in connection with our textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, I have learned to read and understand the Bible, and the fruits of this understanding have been many.
I have been healed of throat trouble which recurred each winter all through my childhood; mumps, whooping cough, and scarlet fever were each overcome within a week. A painful condition on the sole of one foot was healed through counting my blessings and being more grateful to God.
