I desire to express gratitude for a beautiful healing which took place some years ago. I was working on the roof of a house about seventeen miles from the city. It had been raining during the morning and owing to the slippery condition of the roof, the jack on which I was sitting slipped, causing me to fall a distance of over twenty feet, where I landed on the middle of my back on a pile of rocks. The people at the house allowed me to lie in the rain for a long while, as they were afraid to move me, thinking I was passing on. I was unconscious for a long period, and on regaining consciousness was unable to move in any way. I asked the people to get in touch with my wife, knowing that she would get all the help I needed. I was brought home in an ambulance and placed in a special bed; and help was sought from a Christian Science practitioner. I was unable to move any part of my body and great fear was expressed that my back was broken. I remained in this condition for about two weeks; the following week I was able to get about, then soon I was able to resume work. I am most grateful to our revered Leader for the revelation of this great truth and also for the loving help of the practitioner who stood by me so loyally in the hour of great need.— Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.
