Gratitude urges me to write this testimony of the healings that have come to me through Christian Science.
Many years ago I was very ill. For ten years I tried to find healing through medicine, electricity, and similar means. These failed, and in desperation I turned to so-called mental healing, spiritualism, theosophy, and kindred isms, but all in vain. At last a kind physician at a sanitarium in which I was being treated, told me that I had but two weeks to live, and said that I should go home for that time.
When I reached home I spoke to my mother about a woman whom I knew, who had been healed by something called Christian Science, and said that I wanted to try it. She encouraged me to do so. That very day I went to a practitioner. I believe now that I was healed in that first treatment, but I could not realize it at the time, and so continued for two weeks. I was healed of nerve exhaustion, acute liver trouble, kidney trouble, and their attendant ills. From that time I have studied and applied Christian Science until my life has been regenerated, and now I enjoy splendid health.
