Out of deep appreciation for the comfort and joy that have come to me and to my family through the study of Christian Science, I offer this testimony. It illustrates the effectiveness of this teaching in solving the problems of the business world.
Since matters having to do with my economic condition had for many years appeared to prosper, I naturally believed myself to be quite capable of making decisions—certainly without recourse to prayer. However, after a time a series of events brought me to lower estate. It was then that the kind recommendation of a friend that I study Christian Science fell on fertile ground, for it caused me later to apply it to my problems. That was over five years ago.
Gradually my considerations of my business relationships were diverted from a material to a spiritual basis, and within two years a complete business change was effected.
