Having received much encouragement and help from the testimonies in our periodicals, I feel prompted to add mine in the hope that it may be helpful to others who are seeking the truth.
While I did not turn to Christian Science for physical healing, but rather for the understanding of a God to love and not to fear, needless to say I have had many such healings and am sincerely grateful for them. A great many phases of error have presented themselves, only to be destroyed by Truth as taught in Christian Science: influenza, colds, sick headaches, ulcerated teeth, a severe case of skin poisoning, sprained ankles, heart trouble, faults of disposition, lack, and grief over the passing of loved ones. I have also experienced protection from fire and accidents.
I am especially grateful for the Reading Rooms, where it has been a privilege to work, and where I have seen the healing power of divine Love demonstrated. I am grateful also to the practitioners who so faithfully and lovingly stand ready to serve.
