THE WAY

From the August 1939 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Sincerely do we thank Thee, God,
That we may tread where Jesus trod,
To where, within the calm of Mind,
Our restless heart its home may find.
Thus we, with expectation shod,
Press on, and leave the world behind.

And when we pray that self be still,
That we may only do Thy will,
And walk but where we may be led,
Then radiance round our path is shed,
And Love with grace our life does fill,
For every anxious thought has fled.
