I am grateful to know that God is Life, without beginning and without end, and that man, as His image and likeness, is never born and never dies. I was called upon to prove this truth when a loved one passed on, and I can truly say that there was no sense of loss, and a better understanding of Life was gained.
Prior to this dear one's passing on, I was called upon for very great service, more than seemed humanly possible, and for a period of nine weeks I did not have more than three hours' sleep a night. As I realized the infinitude of God, I knew that all the courage, strength, fortitude—all that I needed—was mine in abundance. Not only was I able to care for this loved one and continue my work in my studio as well, but during that time a lift that had been worn inside my shoe for a number of years, due to shortened ligaments, was removed.
I have been instantaneously healed of tonsillitis, which I had had every year since early childhood. I have been healed of three valvular heart leaks, headaches, neuralgia, sensitiveness, nervousness, and ulcers of the stomach. The last-mentioned healing took several years to accomplish, and I am grateful for the lesson learned. I had worked earnestly and faithfully with a practitioner's help, but still the condition did not yield. In fact, it seemed to get worse, and I had several hemorrhages. I was able to take only liquid food, and was so weakened that it was believed I should pass on. However, through it all I held steadfastly to the truth. Finally these words were given to me: "For ye are the temple of the living God;" and. "The Lord is in his holy temple: let all the earth keep silence before him."
