An early Christian in Ireland is credited with this lovely prayer:
"Christ is in the eye that sees me.
Christ is in the ear that hears me.
Christ is in the tongue that speaks to me."
The mistake of believing that the saving Christ is limited to the personality of Christ Jesus robs one of the vital meaning of the Master's great lifework. His mission was to show that within—not without—the consciousness of each individual God's healing, comforting, saving Christ is forever present.
