Mary Baker Eddy, through her love for mankind and her great desire to alleviate the suffering of humanity, was prepared through many years of prayer to receive the revelation she called Christian Science, which illumines the Bible's inspiring promises of God's healing power. The many activities instituted by Mrs. Eddy are open to the seeker, and if receptivity is coupled with faith there will come an awakening to the fact that the healing, hope, and comfort which have taken the place of illness, despair, and disheartenment, result from the operation of the law of God, Life, Truth, and Love.
