In 1906 a friend advised my wife to try Christian Science for the healing of headaches which were of frequent occurrence, very severe, and of long duration. After one present treatment, given by a Christian Science practitioner, this condition vanished, never to return. Shortly afterwards, I was in need of employment, and again through the application of this truth I found my place in the business world. I was also healed of the social drinking habit about this time. Since my introduction to this healing method, it has been my guide and my only physician.
Our daughter on one occasion seemed beyond human aid. She was healed of a wasting sickness, the name of which we never knew.
In business I have been wonderfully led from one position to another when a change was desirable or inevitable. During the so-called business depression, the branch of which I had charge was closed. I was taken care of by transfer to another office, and although reduced in position and salary I was grateful for Love's protection. While this position seemed inferior, it took care of all my needs, and, inasmuch as I was past the age which the business world had decreed a man must be in order to be properly useful, I was especially grateful.
