In pastures green, by waters still,
Faith ever mounts on upward wing,
And gives us strength and vision clear
To know and love our Lord and King,
Who daily leads us on our way,
If we will listen for His voice,
And safely guides us on our path
If we but follow and rejoice.
So if the tempest surges high,
Or world-wide wars deep problems bring,
We shall not fear, for faith has grown
To understanding of our King.
Thus we go forth in trust and joy,
Well knowing that all war will cease
When men have mastered strife within,
And all reflect His love and peace.
