ANNOUNCEMENT

The Trustees of The Christian Science Publishing Society today announced the election of James G. Rowell, C.S.B., of Kansas City, Missouri. as a member of that Board, to fill the vacancy caused by the passing on of Albert F. Gilmore, C. S. B., who for the past more than ten years has given faithful service in that capacity in addition to his work as a teacher and practitioner of Christian Science. Mr. Rowell's election has the approval of The Christian Science Board of Directors.

Mr. Rowell has long been a member of The Christian Science Board of Lectureship, from which Board he is now resigning in order to accept membership on the Board of Trustees of The Christian Science Publishing Society.

Mr. Rowell is a native of Missouri. He was educated in the public schools of Kansas City and is a graduate of the Kansas City School of Law. receiving the degree LL. B. He was authorized to practice law in his native state and was enrolled as a member of the Missouri bar, but entered business, serving a large corporation in various capacities until 1913, when he entered the public practice of Christian Science, in which he is still engaged.
