I have profited so much by the Christian Science periodicals that I am happy to give my testimony.
Following an attack of scarlet fever, I had a serious relapse and was sick for five years. I suffered, among other things, from depressing heart attacks, insomnia, dyspepsia, and neurasthenia. I was unable to go to school, and could not lead the active life of other boys of my age.
My attention was attracted by two articles dealing with Christian Science, which appeared in a scientific magazine of wide circulation. Then followed a great misfortune in my family. Two of my close relatives died suddenly within a few days of each other. This mental shock caused me to look into Christian Science more closely, and from a Christian Science Reading Room I got a copy of The Herald of Christian Science. The articles which I read in this periodical brought me the answer to many questions which had troubled me.
