Because of the demands of the hour, thousands of individuals are being placed in positions important to the general welfare of mankind. They are engaging in work which must of necessity be carried on and discharged with the highest degree of efficiency possible. These individuals are entrusted with responsibilities which must not be interrupted or interfered with by such suggestions as, "It cannot be done," "You will fail in the attempt," "Employees are non-co-operative," and so on.
Speed and accuracy in the wise handling of money and materials, the maintaining of harmony between employer and employee, and continued uninterrupted activity in the field of labor, make heavy demands upon individuals. These demands often induce fear and pressure, with their tendency to disrupt organized effort.
