The reading of the testimonies in the Christian Science publications has always been a great source of encouragement to me, so I am sending in my testimony in the hope that it may help someone as I have been helped.
It is more than twenty years since I first became interested in Christian Science, and it has never failed when properly applied. My first experience was that of painless childbirth. An unusual condition arose at the time of the birth, and the doctor stated that if I had suffered pain he could not have saved the child. At the time I knew nothing of Christian Science except that Christian Scientists did not take medicine and could avoid and overcome pain by prayer.
From childhood I suffered every winter with severe bronchitis. Shortly after becoming interested in Christian Science I had another attack. That was about twenty-five years ago, and I have never had another. In fact, I have had few common colds, and when they have occurred they have been quickly healed.
