Forever is a long word which will show
The wide skies that no earthly vault can know.
Forever is a true word to unclasp
Bounties no carnal mind can grasp.
Forever is a place of lasting peace,
Unbroken still when the last wars shall cease.
Forever is the kingdom of our Lord,
The many-mansioned freedom of the Word.
