THE MOTHER CHURCH WARTIME FUND

From the June 1944 issue of The Christian Science Journal

The generous and steadily increasing contributions of branch churches, societies, and individual Christian Scientists are enabling The Mother Church to maintain and increase its wartime activities. These activities now extend to every part of the world where American or British Empire servicemen and servicewomen are engaged. They also include the relief of human suffering resulting from the war, in many lands. Through this compassionate and unselfish ministry, our fellow Christian Scientists in the armed forces are being healed and strengthened spiritually, and many war sufferers are being aided and comforted.

We gratefully welcome continued support of The Mother Church Wartime Fund, the scope and disposal of which were announced in the Christian Science Sentinel, February 14, 1942. As the war progresses, the needs increase and our opportunities for helpfulness widen. Contributions may be handed to the treasurer of any Christian Science branch church or society, or they may be sent to
Roy Garrett Watson, Treasurer
107 Falmouth Street, Boston 15, Massachusetts

In Great Britain
Harry B. Silver, Treasurer's Representative
147, Chatsworth Court, Kensington, London, W. 8, England
will receive contributions for the Fund.
