In Science and Health, Mrs. Eddy makes this healing statement (pp. 427, 428): "Thought will waken from its own material declaration, 'I am dead.' to catch this trumpet-word of Truth, 'There is no death, no inaction, diseased action, over-action, nor reaction.'" These words have many times lifted me above a mortal sense of existence and healed me.
I am sincerely grateful for having had the glorious privilege of attending a Christian Science Sunday School, where a strong foundation of right thinking was laid. The truths taught there were wonderful steppingstones leading to spiritual growth in my school days, later in business, and now in a happy marriage.
Unlovely traits of character were uncovered and dispelled. I have had numerous healings, including instant relief from colds and sore throat, the laying aside of reading glasses, and the overcoming of foot infection, extreme. nervousness, and weak kidneys. Fear of the future and a tendency to be morbid have long since disappeared.
